For those of us who love old unique and unusual leather bags, this one ticks off all the boxes! I have had this for decades and it is perfect as a briefcase to hold a lap top and associated "stuff" or simply as a tote bag....note the amazing closure with a sterling bead point bezel set turquoise nugget, and a hand wrought metal ring for the leather tab with 2 sterling concho type snaps. The inside holds a full wall size inner pocket, and the long strap fits inside to use just the hand straps. It appears as if the long shoulder strap was added and can be tucked inside the bag when not in use.
