From my personal collection, and safely stored for years, this NWOT (new without tags) Kokomo skirt is a beautiful wearable art piece- made from cotton linen and lined inside to the side slit, it has a richly colored image of a Geishi with loads of hand beading throughout the artwork. The back is unembellished, making it worry free from sitting on beads - and perfect to layer with a kimono or duster!
It is very difficult to photograph, but you can see the in the close ups the fine work throughout. It has a fringe border as shown in photo # 11, and a side zip in photo #12.
Please note my mannequin is very petite and I have clipped back the skirt to fit - meaning the image is more seen when wearing.
It is a size L and laid flat measures:
17 inches at Waist (meaning 34 inches around)
23 inches at Hip (meaning 46 inches around)
36 inches Long from top to bottom including the fringe.
